John Fortunato
Born and bred in Sydney, John is the founding member of Rock Solid -forming the band in 2009 after many thoughts to re-create a “kick ass” rock covers band reminiscent of good old fashion Rock 'n Roll. John has been in the industry for over 25 years and has performed professionally on electric and steel string acoustic guitars playing with numerous artists of many different genres. Fueled by an interest in 70’s & 80’s rock music at a young age and influenced by both Australian and International artists, John has emerged as a skilled, passionate and respected player in the Sydney music scene: the sound behind Rock Solid.
Matt Watts
Born in London, Matt has over 20 years experience in studio and live performance earning his chops on the London circuit in original and covers bands. He studied music at ACM in London and LAMA in Los Angeles. After travelling the world as a drummer, he is now settled in Sydney with sticks in hand. Matt brings to Rock Solid its unmistakeable drive, energy & dance groove.
Wendy Stevens
The powerhouse voice of Wendy Stevens has rocked stages across Ausralia for the last 20 years. Wendy's commanding stage presence and powerful voice has the dance floor packed and audiences screaming for more.
Having shared stages with superstars, respected bands and artists and Influenced by some of the most iconic women of Rock, Wendy knows how to keep the crowd energised, entertained and on their feet.
From beginnings in opera; to television performance and fronting Rock bands, Wendy has well earnt her reputation as one of Sydney's finest lead vocalists and stage performers.
Bill Gibson
Big Billy has been anchoring the beat in indie and cover bands since the mid - 80's. From touring the world with the Lemonheads in the 90's to fronting inner city covers legends Shaggin' Wagon for over 20 years. He's living proof that we don't stop playing because we get old - we get old because we stop playing!
Eddy Santacreu
Eddy was born in Paris & moved to Sydney in 2005. Joining Australian Rock band "Koritni", Eddy performed many european tours and played some of the biggest stages and festivals in Europe alongside bands like Guns'n Roses, Motley Crue and Scorpions.
Teaming with John on electric guitar, Eddy is an exciting talent - his screaming solos and solid rhythms bringing to the band an undeniable rock-solid sound and performance.
